Tilcara

The first eveing in Argentina was greeting us with a breathtaking sunset.

And the colours were changing constantly and they got even more beautiful...

Our first stop in Argentina was Tilcara - it almost seemed like an Oasis in this dry valley. There are ruins of an old settlement of the indigenous people.

Cactus was everywhere, too. Only the trunk was left of some of them...

And they used the wood of the cactus to build a lot of things. Even the choir of the church in town was made out of it.

And it seemed that Argentinians are humourous and like music... ;-)
