Litchfield National Park

We toewed those two Irish fellows 280km from Timber Creek to Katherine since her car broke down and they could not get it repaired in Timber Creek....

The day after we met Konnis Godmother in Darwin.

Termites at their mound. Those were quite excited...

One of the many water falls in the Litchfield National Park. Eventhough this park is about 100km away from Darwin a lot of people use it as natural swimming pool.

The wet lands of this park are nice as well.

It looks like it is spring at the moment.

A water fall again...

On the way 'home' we saw those magnetic termite mounds.

Those termites build the mounds that way to catch the warmth of the morning and the night and to escape the heat of the day...

And they are tall...
