Yellow Water Cruise

A Cokatoo has some fruits of a pandanus tree next to our camp.

On the next morning we had an early start to get to the first Yellow Water Cruise of the day. The morning is really the best time to do that.

Morning mist over the Yellow Water river.

The sun gets up and hundrets of Whistling ducks (one can see them just at the waters edge) start to whistle.

Water Pandanus at the Yellow Water. This plant is used by Aboriginies for several different things such as head aches, medizine, fire tourch etc.

A Jabiru, the only storch in Australia (not this in particular!), is going to have breakfast.

Fresh blooming Water Lillys. After the day they will be looking week since the sun is just too hot up here.

Lilly walker or better Jacarnas. One can just recognise them on this image - around thirty in the foreground.

A Darta or as well called a snake neck is drying her feathers in the early sun.

Mac Pie Goose- mostly there are tripples to be seen! One male and two female...
