Outbackroads and towns

Just a normal road sign in the Outback. Beside a few Roadhouses there is nothing than 667km between those two towns!!!


Something quite normal as well. Roadtrains do not break for animals and so a number of them is laying just beside the road.


And there it comes. 4 tenders and over 50m long!


As said on the sign, the road is flooded from time to time. Just not to believe....


No we did not break down - just a break for some photos.


Not our tyre but again an often seen object on the road side.


It was time for a little town!!! Apperantly a croc of this size was hunted down near Normanton once upon a time...


It does not matter how small the town is in the outback - a pub will be there!


When you get to Normanton you will be greeted by this sign!


Rainforrest in the Atherton Tablelands. A relief for the eys the lush green!
