A square that is a lot in discussion - the Federation Square was only opened last year (2002)and is home to some new museums.


A view across the river Yarra onto the skyline of Melbourne. In the far left is the Rialto tower (the highest building here) - nice city, right!?


Fairly famous colorful beach huts at Brighton Beach on the Bay make a good atmosphere...


There are all designs: flower power and even national pride to be seen along the beach huts.


A typical day in Melbourne - cloudy and rainy. On that day our ferry left for Tasmania.
