Cambodia III A view from our guest house over the lake in Phnom Penh.  On the way to Siem Reap (Angkor area) we stopped at a place where people sell spiders as a little snack. IIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEHHHHH A SPIDER!!!! :-0  This is the way the locals travel. A lot of people in the back of the pickup and off it goes over the dust roads.  Arrived in the old world of the Khmers. Here at the temple Phnom Bakeng, one of the earliest in this region.  Suse at the temple Phnom Bakeng during sunset.  The south gate to the city of Angkor. The statues show the daemons, on the other side there were gods which looked more friendly.
