Nepal, a dream land

In early October we travelled from India to Nepal, since October and November are supposed to be the best months for trekking in the mountains. But it was raining cats and dogs when we arrived.
Nevertheless we went for two long treks through the unbelievable beauty of the Himalayas.
The first Trek led us around the Annapurna Massiv just north of Pokhara. We took altogether 21 days for this circuit with its amazing mountain culture and Tibetan people. For the second trip we went to the Khumjung area which is east of Kathmandu (45 min in a small plane or 7 to 10 days hike). We chose to walk into the Gokyo valley because of its five Lakes and the magnificant view of the surrounding 8000m peaks, including Mount Everest.
Up to now we did not bother to write anything to explain the beauty since it is undescribable anyway and we thought that images will show what we saw (not quite the experience though).
