| Let's Go Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia in English. Others are better - for sure. Maps are changing the orientation and some places or accomodations are described very badly. |
| Arequipa |
Nice buildings made of Sillar - a white volcanic rock. The surrounding is stunnig with two volcanoes direct infront of the city. And the museum with Juanita - a Inca mummie - is really great! |
| Caņon del Colca |
It is supposed to be the second deepest canyon in the world. It was nice but not too stunning. The second reason people go there is for the Condores - the biggest bird of pray in the world. |
| Puno |
The city itself is not very atractiv but is the starting point for tour onto the lake Titicaca with it's Floating Islands and the other two inhabited ones, Amantani and Taquille. The tours can be bad and we recommend to do it yourself! |

| Mit Bussen und Taxis bestritten wir den Hauptteil unserer Reisen. Mit Collectivos kamen wir über die Grenze. In den großen Städten in Peru wird empfohlen nur mit Radiotaxis zu fahren. In Arequipa wird von allen die Firma Taxitel empfohlen. |
