Santa Cathalina
At the entrance one was remindet that it is a quiet surrounding!
One of the many passageways of Santa Cathalina.
They had kitchens in every house. Perhaps it was forbidden for the nuns even to eat together.
The style of the houses changed quite often since the convent developed bit by bit.
The laundry. Through the little pipe in the middle they filled the different basins.
The main cathedral of the convent. There was a seperate room for the nuns behind the altar so they could attend the services without being seen by the public.
